Leicester City have endured a torrid run in the Premier League.
The defeat to Fulham on the weekend marked their seventh in a row, leaving them two points adrift of safety.

Leicester fans booed Ruud van Nistelrooy’s substitutions with most of the frustration aimed at the decision to bring off fan favourite Bilal El Khanouss, who seemed the most likely avenue to a goal.
The Morroco international has been taken off early in games far too often and the decision to bench Facundo Buonanotte has also been baffling to many.
That’s led to chants of ‘you don’t know what you’re doing’ to van Nistelrooy, who is on thin ice among supporters.
That said, Leicester fans have been defending themselves on X (formerly known as Twitter) after rival supporters called them entitled.

Leicester fans explain why they’re not entitled
This Ipswich fan sparked a lot of debate among Leicester supporters as he described the King Power faithful as the most entitled group in England.
@BeanMallard responded furiously: “Hahahahahaaaaa you’re kidding me right? Our fanbase politely sat there silent whilst Rodgers caused one of the biggest declines in Premier League history. Maybe if we were as entitled as you claim we’d not have been so complicit in our pathetic demise.”
“Ridiculous statement. 16/17 it all went wrong and was best for all parties for Claudio to go, the Maresca stuff you’ve just made up, and we were dreadful under Cooper. Fans are allowed to have a voice when their club is being badly run,” @Langoh said.
@DennisC77103264 added: “You know nothing about our club, nothing!! Ranieri was taking us down, he started to implement his tactics, instead of going with what he had inherited.”
@LestahSam commented: “Are you saying we shouldn’t turn on the manager after 7 losses in a row? Pretty sure any fanbase in the country would…
@SJW_96 posted: “We didn’t hound Ranieri out or call for Cooper to be sacked. Those were down to the players. A lot of the fans didn’t want Cooper to begin with but they weren’t calling for him to be sacked. As for “hounding out” managers: Mick McCarthy?”
“A club spending £25m on Skipp will drive any fan base feral tbf. Don’t blame him for the transfer fee but he could at least work on his first touch. Beggars belief why we would bring him on. May as well bring some academy players on,” @sh204_sand explained.

Ruud van Nistelrooy deserves sympathy
Van Nistelrooy deserves a lot of sympathy given the current squad at his disposal.
Not many touch on it, but Leicester’s current injury issues would be a challenge for any manager at any level.
Mads Hermansen was a perennial point saver all season but he’s now been on the sidelines for weeks, with young Jakub Stolarczyk replacing him.
City’s best and most dangerous attacker Abdul Fatawu is out of the season and that’s resulted in the current set-up having next to no pace on the flanks.
Ricardo Pereira, arguably the best defender at the club, has been absent since van Nistelrooy’s arrival and Wilfried Ndidi, the much-needed shield to the back four, remains unavailable.
The current squad is far weaker than the one Steve Cooper had, so patience and understanding is needed.
Clearly, the Dutchman needs new signings to fill in for the injured first-teamers.
