It’s been a rough first half of the 2024/25 season for Leicester City to say the least.
The Foxes dominated the Championship in 2023/24, securing a swift return to the Premier League.
It’s been largely downhill from there, however, with Leicester City losing promotion-winning manager Enzo Maresca and star player Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall over the summer.
Their performances on the field have been pretty dire as well, with the Midlands outfit sat 19th in the Premier League and in possession of the joint-second worst defence in the top flight going into the next round of games.

To make matters worse, Leicester are in danger of suffering a points deduction in the current campaign if they fail to comply with PSR.
They are also on their second manager of the season already, with Ruud van Nistelrooy replacing Steve Cooper in the dugout.

How Leicester City owner feels about sacking Steve Cooper
Cooper didn’t have a great stint at the King Power Stadium, winning just two Premier League matches before he was sacked.
The decision to sack the former Nottingham Forest man, so far at least, hasn’t really paid off either with results still poor and the Foxes sliding into the relegation zone.
Now, a report from the Telegraph has shed some light on how Leicester owner Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha feels about sacking Cooper.
They wrote: “In November, manager Steve Cooper was sacked in a move which cost the club millions in compensation. Owner Aiyawatt ‘Top’ Srivaddhanaprabha made the decision but was annoyed to be forced into action as it was unplanned expenditure.”
