Leicester City are still yet to complete a single transfer during the 2025 winter window.
The Foxes should, on paper, have already got at least one player through the door this month.
Ruud van Nistelrooy took charge of his first game on December 3rd but has been unable to turn the club’s fortunes around.
Leicester City have dropped down to 19th in the Premier League table, with it clear the Dutchman needs help if he’s going to mount a proper survival push.
Several players have already been linked with the Foxes, but at present, no deal looks close to being completed.
A centre-back and full-back should be looked at, but Leicester have now been offered a chance to strengthen their forward line.

Leicester City offered Newcastle United forward Miguel Almiron
Leicester lost Abdul Fatawu to injury in 2024 and he’s now expected to miss the remainder of the current campaign.
In turn, though perhaps not the most pressing issue, signing a replacement for him does make sense.
Now, a report from Caught Offside this week has revealed that Leicester have been offered the chance to sign Miguel Almiron from Newcastle United.
It’s understood that the Magpies, who are currently paying Almiron £60,000-a-week as per Capology, want €20-25m (around £17-£20m) for the winger.
The Foxes are not the only team in the English top flight to have been offered the Newcastle man, however, with relegation rivals Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers also named in the report.
There’s interest from elsewhere in Europe in the player as well, with Greek outfit Olympiacos thought to be keen.

What Leicester City fans could expect from Miguel Almiron
Almiron joined Newcastle in January 2019 from MLS side, Atlanta United FC.
He has since made 220 appearances in all competitions for the North East outfit, scoring 30 and providing 12 assists.
The 30-year-old has been given a reduced role in the 2024/25 campaign, however, so far only notching 136 minutes of Premier League action.
He is a natural right winger and is very creative, as highlighted by Eddie Howe’s comments from the Northern Echo earlier this season.
Howe said: “I thought Miggy was probably our standout performer creatively.
“He had two good halves, obviously created the goal for us. He had good energy, linked well especially in the second half.
“I was pleased with him. He has a big part to play. Today everyone fit and available was in the squad. I’m delighted with Miggy.”
