Leicester City goalkeeper, Mads Hermansen has admitted that there were lots of clubs interested in him, but the Foxes were his number-one choice.
Hermansen joined the club over the summer and has impressed with his shot-stopping and ball-playing abilities.
The Dane signed from Brondby and has already established himself as Enzo Maresca’s number-one goalkeeper.
Despite some shaky moments, the goalkeeper has become one of the most important players at the King Power this season.
Maresca has already publicly backed his man and has said any risks will be outweighed by the benefits across the season.

What has Mads Hermansen said?
At 23-years old, Hermansen was lauded as one of the best young goalkeepers in Europe and he had many suitors.
On the summer interest, the Dane said: “Obviously, there were several clubs interested. My entourage and I held talks about what should be done.”
In spite of all the interest, the goalkeeper opted to join Maresca’s side. This in a deal worth a fee in the region of £7 million.
On a move to the Foxes, Hermansen said: “When Leicester came in, it was almost a ‘no-brainer’ in terms of the plan they came with.
“Leicester came with the best setup and the best opportunity.”
It just goes to show the pull that the exciting project that has been created at Leicester this season.
