Two of N’Golo Kante’s former clubs, Leicester City and Chelsea, are set to face off in a Premier League meeting later this week
Leicester City are on a torrid run of form in the league, losing 11 of their previous 12 matches.
This has seen the Foxes drop down to 19th in the table and unless something changes very soon, they will be back in the Championship come 2025/26.

Next up for Ruud van Nistelrooy’s men is a meeting with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, March 9th.
Neither side has been at their best this term, and both would no doubt love to have N’Golo Kante back on their books.
The midfielder cemented himself as a club icon with both teams, and following his transfer to Chelsea in 2016, he revealed his ‘big dream’.

N’Golo Kante revealed dream after leaving Leiceter City for Chelsea
Kante made the move to the King Power Stadium in August 2015 from French side, SM Caen.
He spent just one season at Leicester, playing 40 games, but it was the most memorable in the club’s history.
The Foxes won their first and only Premier League title in 2015/16, in no small part due to the efforts of Kante.
The Frenchman, as was to be expected, then got snapped up by one of the traditional ‘top-six’ clubs in the summer of 2016, joining Chelsea.
After his transfer to Stamford Bridge, as per the Daily Mail in August of that year, Kante revealed his ‘big dream’ was to play in the Champions League.
He said: “Of course, I have never played in the Champions League. But everyone knows that Chelsea are a big club and I hope I will be playing in it next year.
“Playing in the Champions League is a big dream of mine. When you are a player and have a chance to play in it, it’s a good thing. But like I said, I hope to play in it next season.”
Chelsea, of course, did not have Champios League football in 2016/17 but did manage to secure it in the following campaign to fulfill Kante’s dream.
But not only did the former Leicester man play in the competition, he went on to win it with the Blues in 2020/21 when the West Londoners beat Manchester City in the showpiece.

N’Golo Kante on verge of more success with Al-Ittihad
Following their European triumph in 2021, Kante spent two more years with Chelsea before leaving in the summer of 2023.
The now 33-year-old linked up with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad on a free transfer.
Despite his age and previous injury record, Kante has made 23 appearances so far in 2024/25 and is closing in on another league title.
Al-Ittihad are top of the division after 23 matches and have now opened up a six-point lead over Al Hilal in second.
