The supercomputer is a fascinating tool that can often make or break a fan’s perception on what their club’s fortunes will look like.
In the case of Leicester City fans, they’ll be hoping that the supercomputer can bring some good news about their Premier League survival battle.
With nine games of the season to go, the Foxes are nine points behind Wolverhampton Wanderers and have failed to pick up any points since the win against Tottenham Hotspur on 26 January.

Fans are trying to pick out where the next points are coming from and according to Opta’s supercomputer, it makes for grim reading as a fan of Leicester.
Supercomputer predicts Leicester to be relegated
Many Leicester fans believe that their fate is already sealed and it seems that Opta is echoing the same sentiments.
According to their forecasted predictions, Leicester are set to end the season with 21 points. As it stands, the Foxes have 17 points meaning that they will only collect a measly four more before the 24/25 campaign is complete.

To add further salt to the wounds, the side they are trying to chase already have 26 points – meaning they could theoretically lose every game from now until the end of the season.
Where will Leicester’s four points come from?
There’s been a running joke suggesting that Leicester’s run of form is equivalent to a quality pack of fruit pastilles: lots of red, the odd orange and very little green.
It seems it’s going to continue that way with a horrible run of games to come, including an away trip to Manchester City and home fixtures against in-form Newcastle United and Liverpool.
If the four points are going to come from anywhere, it will be against the two teams alongside them in the bottom three.

Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side face Southampton on 3 May before taking on Ipswich Town in their final home game on 17 May.
Three points against basement boys Southampton seems likely and a draw against Ipswich would also be a likely scenario.
Hopefully the Foxes can prove everyone wrong, but right now, it looks like things aren’t getting any better.
