Leicester City will go head-to-head with Brentford in Friday evening’s Premier League meeting.
The Foxes go into the fixture with Brentford looking for just their second win in 11 Premier League outings.
The Bees are sat 11th prior to kick-off with their survival in the English top flight once again secured for the remainder of the campaign.
However, Leicester City are far from safe, and unless things turn around very soon, a swift return to the Championship is on the cards.
The Midlands outfit have amassed a dismally low 17 points all term despite replacing Steve Cooper with Ruud van Nistelrooy in December.

Had things gone differently, however, it could have been Thomas Frank in the Leicester dugout for Friday evening’s clash.

Leicester City wanted to sign Thomas Frank from Brentford
Back in 2022, Brendan Rodgers was still the manager of Leicester and fighting for his job.
The Foxes kicked off 2022/23 on a seven-game losing streak going into the first international break of the campaign.
This was Leicester’s worst start to a season since all the way back in 1983/84.
In turn, Rodgers’ job was obviously under threat and it was revealed by the Telegraph at the time that Frank had a lot of respect in the Leicester boardroom and was admired by the club.
However, no move came to pass as they were not confident that the Dane would be open to leaving Brentford to join them.

Leicester City record vs Brentford
Leicester and Brentford have faced off a total of 34 times throughout history with the first meeting coming back in 1936.
The Foxes have picked up 15 wins in said ties, drawing 12, and the Bees have won the remaining seven.
Brentford beat Leicester 4-1 earlier this season when Van Nistelrooy was watching on from the stands prior to taking charge.
But before that, the London outfit had not picked up a victory in any competition since all the way back in 1953 when the pair were in Division Two.
