After 10 games of the Premier League season, Leicester City are 15th in the table. Something everyone would bite your hand off for come the end of it.
It’s been an up-and-down start for Steve Cooper’s side, winning two, drawing four, and losing four, but they have some breathing room over the bottom three.

Last weekend’s 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town means the Foxes are five points clear of Ipswich Town in 18th but there is still plenty of time for the Premier League table to throw up some surprises.
But as we come to the end of the first third of the 2024/25 campaign, Tony Cascarino has assessed every side’s chances of survival, including Leicester.
Tony Cascarino tips Leicester for Premier League survival

Cascarino identified seven clubs that are at risk of the drop and while he admitted that the Foxes were one of those in the mix, he believes he’s seen enough to be convinced that they can secure their place in the Premier League for next season.
Writing in his column for The Times, he said: “Losing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was always going to be a blow but the addition of the two former Spurs midfielders in Harry Winks and Oliver Skipp has given them a bit of solidity in the middle.
“I really like the look of Facundo Buonanotte — he’s got a bit of magic in him and you need that down there, someone who can just produce a moment out of nothing.
“Saturday was a case in point of their team spirit under Steve Cooper. I think they’ll be good enough to pull clear when it counts.”
Meanwhile the former Republic of Ireland international suggested that Southampton, Wolves, and Crystal Palace were the three teams that would go down at Leicester’s expense.
Latest Opta Premier League table prediction is good news for Leicester
It’s not just Cascarino who is predicting Leicester to stay up as Opta’s latest predictions also make good reading.
Back in September, the Foxes were predicted to end the season in 19th after failing to win any of their first four games.
However, in the latest round of predictions from Opta, the club is now tipped to finish in 17th, pipping Wolves, Ipswich, and Southampton to safety.
The Blues are expected to finish with 34 points, two points more than Wolves in 18th.
