Leicester City are enjoying life under Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The Foxes have taken four points from his first six games and now reside five clear of the relegation zone.

Leicester showed their resilience on the weekend as they overturned a two-goal deficit against Brighton to snatch a late point.
Jamie Vardy inspired the comeback whilst Boubakary Soumare earned a lot of plaudits for his sensational midfield display.
One of the substitutes also made a great impact on the game and Troy Deeney just can’t understand why he doesn’t play more.

Troy Deeney can’t understand why Stephy Mavididi doesn’t start for Leicester
Speaking on BBC’s Match of the Day 2 programme, Troy Deeney hailed Stephy Mavididi for his direct nature and admitted he doesn’t understand why he doesn’t start.
“Mavididi is a player I really really like and I think should get a bit more game time because he’s just more direct.”
The jet-heeled winger was a regular under Enzo Maresca last season but for whatever reason, he’s been in and out of the side this term.
Mavididi, who is the only natural left-winger at the club, has started seven league games out of the 14 so far.
The former Arsenal wide player has consistently looked a threat off the bench in recent weeks, far more so than Kasey McAteer and Jordan Ayew – who have been keeping him out of the team.
Mavididi stats vs Brighton
Mavididi’s Sofascore statistics against Brighton make for very impressive reading, considering he only entered the pitch for the final 30 minutes.
- 28 minutes
- 28 touches
- 3 successful dribbles
- 3 duels won
- 2 key passes
The £10k-a-week star (Capology) led the press really well, too, and forced the error which led to Bobby De Cordova-Reid’s equaliser.
Van Nistelrooy simply has to start Mavididi against Newcastle United this weekend.
