Defeat on Saturday was Leicester’s seventh Premier League loss in a row and survival looks like a tall order.

Some supporters made their feelings clear on Van Nistelrooy as they questioned the decision to bring Bilal El Khannouss off midway through the second half.
Van Nistelrooy was dejected in his post-match interview and now, with the Foxes still two points off safety, there have been some whispers of a potential sacking.
In light of that, Leicester City News decided to hold a vote to see if the Dutchman should remain in the job.

Leicester City fans vote on Ruud van Nistelrooy’s future
A poll was posted online on X to determine what the consensus was from the Leicester fanbase and it seemed like an overwhelming majority want Van Nistelrooy to stay.
From the 39 votes in total, 61.5 per cent of the votes were in favour of not sacking the manager whilst the remaining 38.5 per cent think it’s time for change.
The Leicester owners have already revealed that they won’t sack Van Nistelrooy regardless of results, largely down to the club’s financial fears as PSR fears continue to hang over the Foxes.

Football is a results business and right now, Van Nistelrooy’s results are not exactly glowing.
But, sacking the Dutchman isn’t always the answer.

For starters, the Foxes boss doesn’t have the players he wants. Leicester have signed one player this transfer window and it seems that they are no closer to making further additions.
It’s been a turbulent season and Leicester need consistency to build something. There have been some signs of improvement in terms of style of play and once Van Nistelrooy has had a proper summer window, then judgement day can really begin.
