Robert Huth has revealed which player he thought was the best during Leicester City’s famous Premier League title win.
Leicester City defied the odds in the 2015/16 season to win the English top flight for the first time in the club’s history.
Managed by Claudio Ranieri, the Foxes were the biggest story in world football as they fought off the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur to win the league by 10 points.
Every player played their role but according to Huth, there was one name that stood out above the rest.
Robert Huth praises N’Golo Kante for impact in title-winning season

It’s coming up to almost 10 years since Leicester’s famous title win and even still, the story will never get old.
Huth was in the TalkSPORT studio to discuss all things Leicester and naturally, the topic went onto that season.
The German admitted that there were several stars such as Jamie Vardy and Wes Morgan who impressed, but none stood out more than N’Golo Kante.
“I think it’s got to be Kante and Wes was absolutely awesome,” he said.
“I think because Kante was so dominant and so amazing the whole season and rightly so, the people speak about him. But Wes was brilliant because, in a few games where we’d struggled, he’d put in a Man of the Match performance. But ultimately, I think Kante was an absolute joke of a player.”
Kante joined the Foxes for £5.5m and was the first signing Ranieri made after being appointed as manager.
He would spend a single season at the King Power Stadium before moving to Chelsea after they activated a release clause.

N’Golo Kante wanted to join French giants instead of Leicester
When the Frenchman joined the club, Kante was relatively unknown to football fans in England having been at Ligue 1 side Caen.
Leicester won the race to secure his signature and faced competition from Marseille but, despite choosing to join the Foxes, Kante admitted that he initially preferred to remain in his homeland.
Speaking to Canal + in 2017, the midfielder said: “Among the clubs that most wanted to recruit me were Marseille and Leicester.
“I thought I had to go through a stage in France. I remember the generation of [Mamadou] Niang, [Franck] Ribery and [Samir] Nasri and it was a team that I liked, especially in the Champions League.”
Thankfully he chose the East Midlands and although he was only at the club for one year, he’s still a fan favourite.
