There are many things Leicester City can be proud of over the years, and there academy is certainly one of those.

Over the last 20 years, the Foxes have developed and nurtured the likes of Emile Heskey, Matt Piper, Andy King, Ben Chilwell and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

Now, Kasey McAteer and Will Alves have paved the way whilst 15-year-old wonderkid Jeremy Monga and prolific goal scorer Jake Evans seem like the next two to break into the Foxes’ first team.

Leicester’s academy is a Category One status and with the Foxes’ world class training facilities, can attract the best young talent.

But, who are the youngsters you haven’t heard of that could go on to become a Leicester legend? We have that covered here.

Lorenz Hutchinson

Like Evans, Hutchinson is well-known for being a goal scorer at U18 level for Leicester.

In the young Foxes’ most recent game against West Ham United, Hutchinson bagged a hat trick in a 3-1 win and has seven goals from 13 games in all competitions this season, which equates to a goal every 136 minutes.

Nobody has managed to fulfil the task of replacing Jamie Vardy as Leicester’s main talisman but if Hutchinson can keep this going, then he could save the club millions by being the latest hot prospect to break through.

Darren Motsi

The youngest of the trio in the list, it will be a few years before Darren Motsi is in contention for first-team selection, but he is already catching the eye.

An attacker, Motsi was called up to England’s U15 squad for the first time and scored in both of his games.

Motsi featured in the double header against Turkey, scoring in an 8-0 after coming off the bench to make his debut before starting the second match and scoring again in a 3-0 victory.

Olabade Aluko

Attacking players have been all the rage at Leicester but aside from Ben Nelson, nobody has broken into the Leicester first-team squad other than Chilwell in a long while.

Olabade Aluko is the best chance of this happening and he looks a real prospect after making a smooth transition to the U21s.

He featured in the club’s Bristol Street Motors Trophy group stage campaign and didn’t look out of place against well-established Football League players.

Predominately deployed as a right-back, Aluko recently committed his international future to Nigeria and is certainly one to watch.
