Following Leicester City’s 3-1 defeat to Leeds United on Friday evening, The Foxes will be eager to get back to winning ways against Bournemouth.

Enzo Maresca‘s side make the trip down south to face Premier League opposition on Tuesday in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

It’ll be a great test for the East Midlanders, who currently sit at the summit of the Championship table and within sight of an instant return to the top-flight.

Leicester will still have fond memories of the the FA Cup, having won it less than three years ago, beating Chelsea 1-0 in the final.

So heading into the clash against the Cherries, they’ll certainly not be resting on their laurels and could cause an upset.

Though, with a Championship game against Queens Park Rangers also to contend with on Saturday, Maresca may opt to make a few changes and bring in some youngsters from the academy.

Brandon Cover

In the fourth round, Brandon Cover made his Foxes debut and gave a good account of himself in the 3-0 victory over Birmingham City.

Cover operated in the inverted right-back role and stepped confidently into midfield, almost providing an assist for Jamie Vardy, who overran his one on one.

With Ricardo Pereira a key figure for Maresca, perhaps the 20-year-old will make his second appearance for Leicester and replace the seven-cap Portugal international.

Wanya Marcal

Wanya Marcal has started two Championship games this season and was on the scoresheet against Cardiff City back in August.

The jet-heeled wide player has seen his involvement in the first-team limited of late but he could make an appearance against the Cherries.

Marcal was named in the starting line-up against Millwall and Birmingham City in the third and fourth round, so it seems fairly likely he’ll at least be in the squad in this one.

Arjan Raikhy

Arjan Raikhy joined the East Midlands club last summer after departing Aston Villa and has made two appearances for Maresca’s team so far.

The FA Youth Cup winner was substituted on in the latter stages of the fourth round and made his Championship debut in a 3-1 win against Swansea City.

Following Cesare Casadei’s January exit and Wilfred Ndidi’s injury, Leicester are a little light in midfield and will want to avoid any further absences in that area, so perhaps Raikhy could be in line to make his first start for the club.
