Leicester City have a good track record of producing players from their academy, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall the prime example in recent seasons.
The Foxes midfielder has starred for Leicester this term as they sit at the summit of the Championship table, six points clear of second-placed Leeds United.
Dewsbury-Hall has scored 10 goals whilst laying on 12 assists in the second tier and is looking every inch of a Premier League player.
So who will be the next player to graduate from Seagrave and follow in the footsteps of the 25-year-old playmaker?
Will Alves

If you ask any Leicester fan who they think will be the next player in line to join Enzo Maresca‘s squad, they’ll likely say Will Alves.
The 18-year-old is well known among City supporters thanks to his sparkling performances for the under-21s.
Alves has already made his senior debut for the Foxes, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 4-1 win against Watford in the FA Cup three years ago, at age 16.
His rapid progress came to an abrupt holt, however, when he sustained a torn ACL in a FA Youth Cup clash in 2022.
The England under-18 international has since returned to action and having made the bench against Watford earlier this month, it appears he’s closing in on a first senior appearance of the season.
Though, he has recently picked up a muscle injury that will keep him out for another three to four weeks.
Sammy Braybrooke
Like Alves, Sammy Braybooke also suffered a serious knee injury during an academy game and has been sidelined since early last year.
Braybrooke made his City debut aged 18 in a 3-0 League Cup win over Newport County in November 2022 following a number of glowing performances in the reserve team.
Nicknamed ‘Modric’ by former Leicester defender Caglar Soyuncu and ‘Leicester’s Iniesta’ by his England under-18 teammates, the 5ft 7 in midfielder certainly has a similar profile to the LaLiga legends.
Braybrooke’s technique and comfortability on the ball will lend itself well to Maresca’s system and upon retuning from injury, it wouldn’t at all be surprising to see him back involved with the first-team.
Logan Briggs
Logan Briggs was spotted in first team training earlier this week after a series of appearances in the Premier League 2 this term.
Briggs has made five appearances in the reserve league and has laid on two assists, operating from a number of positions across the midfield.
Having just celebrated his 19th birthday earlier this month, the creative midfielder is still in a period of development, like his aforementioned teammates, but Ben Nelson has shown there is a pathway to Maresca’s squad.
Should Briggs impress in first-team training, alongside under-21s football, perhaps a City debut could arrive in the coming weeks.
