Leicester City and Chelsea have done plenty of business with each other over the years.
The likes of Danny Drinkwater, N’Golo Kante and Wesley Fofana have all swapped the East Midlands for West London in recent years and had mixed fortunes.
Chelsea have one of the biggest squads in the league and Enzo Maresca is looking to offload any deadwood at any given moment.
Among those players tipped to leave Stamford Bridge are all former Foxes stars and if latest reports are to be believed, one looks close to being confirmed.

Chelsea transfer news: Cesare Casadei closing in on Serie A return
Ben Chilwell, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Cesare Casadei are all former Leicester players who look destined to leave Chelsea this month, but it’s the latter who looks most likely at the moment.
Football Italia has reported that Lazio are in competition with Torino for Casadei’s signature but the former are currently ahead in the race.
Torino were linked with Casadei recently but now Lazio have seemingly moved ahead in the pack after launching a £10.9m plus add-ons – which is roughly what Chelsea want.
Leicester were also tipped to make a move for Casadei, who spent half a season on loan at the Foxes in the 2023/24 campaign before returning to Chelsea.
Maresca said he was stunned by Casadei’s recall at the time but now, with a plethora of options to pick from, seems willing to part ways.
The five most expensive transfers between Leicester City and Chelsea
There has been plenty of crossover between Leicester and Chelsea in recent years, with the latter signing plenty of players from the Foxes.
Leicester’s success has inspired Chelsea to raid the Foxes and almost become a 2.0 version of the Midlanders.
Over £200m has been exchanged between the two clubs in that time, all with varying degrees of success.
| Player | Year Joined | Transfer Fee |
| Wesley Fofana | 2022 | £75m |
| Ben Chilwell | 2020 | £50m |
| Danny Drinkwater | 2017 | £35m |
| N’Golo Kante | 2016 | £32.5m |
| Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall | 2024 | £30m |
Fofana’s move from Leicester to Chelsea was the most expensive, coming in at a whopping £75m whilst former academy star Chilwell raked in £50m.
Even Dewsbury-Hall, Chelsea’s cheapest of the five cost them £30m and he is a squad player at best for Maresca.
Aside from Kante, and maybe Chilwell, none have been particularly inspiring signings for Leicester, who seemed to get the better end of the bargain.
