Leicester City are set to face a transfer battle to sign 22-year-old Danish midfield ace Albert Gronbaek.

Leicester have suffered back-to-back losses in the league at the hands of Leeds United and Middlesbrough but remain top.
Now, reports indicate that Enzo Maresca and co are already shifting focus onto the upcoming transfer window.
According to Nettavisen, Leicester are among those who are keen on Bodo/Glimt midfielder Albert Gronbaek who has been attracting interest across Europe.
The Foxes will face compeition from French side Lille and Turkish giants Galatasaray for the signature of the talented midfielder.
Who is Albert Gronbaek?
Danish born Gronbaek is a player who has all the qualities required to be a top class midifleder in the Championship.
Born in Risskov, Gronbaek will turn 23 in May next year.
Currently a regular for his club Bodo/Glimt who happen to sit top of the Norweigan league, he has been very impressive.
In the Eliteserien during 2023 he has accumulated nine goals and seven assists through 27 appearances according to Transfermarkt.
To make the case even more compelling, he has also proven himself on the European stage this campaign with a goal and an assist in his four Conference League appearances.
He is a former Denmark U21 international and if he sees out this season in the same form he’s been in, could see himself made a full international for next summers Euros. A move to a league who don’t break from January til April will also do him a world of good.
Impressed against Arsenal in 2022
During last season’s Europa League campaign, Gronbaek’s Bodo/Glimt side came up against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and despite defeat the then 21-year-old was impressive.
Winning five duels against a strong Arsenal midfield while also completing a dribbled and boasting impressive defensive stats.
He played 78 minutes and managed to recieve a SofaScore rating of 6.9 which is very respectable for facing such a prestigious opponent.
Definitely a player who is just waiting to rise to the next level and Enzo Maresca could be the player to take him there.
