Leicester City are in the market to sign a new attacker in the January transfer window.
The Foxes’ main issue in the 2024/25 campaign has been the number of goals they are conceding.
However, improvements at the other end of the pitch could still be made and are seemingly being looked at, especially as Odsonne Edouard could return to Crystal Palace in January.
This would leave Ruud van Nistelrooy with just Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka as natural number nine options.
Leicester City were linked with Emmanuel Latte Lath of Middlesbrough last week, with the Ivorian among the top scorers in the Championship this season.
More recently, another in-form ace from the second tier of football has been tipped to make a move to the King Power Stadium and the Foxes have now been told how much they may need to pay for him.

Leicester City told how much to pay for Haji Wright
The player in question is Coventry City attacker Haji Wright, who was linked to Leicester last week and has seven goals and one assist in 15 league matches this term.
The 26-year-old’s found the back of the net on more occasions than Vardy (6) in 2024/25 and would no doubt offer a decent goal threat in the Premier League.
A potential transfer is not expected to come cheap, however, with former player turned pundit Carlton Palmer insisting he will cost in excess of £15m, as per Football League World.
He said: “Leicester City and Ipswich Town are running the rule over Coventry City striker Haji Wright.
“The US international joined the Sky Blues in the summer of 2023 for around £7.7m from Antalyaspor, which made him a club-record purchase.
“If Coventry were to consider selling, it would be in excess of £15m.”

Haji Wright stats compared to Leicester City forwards
Wright enjoyed a solid debut season in England, scoring 16 in 44 Championship matches for Coventry.
His 2024/25 has been hampered by injury but he’s still managed to put up some pretty impressive numbers.
| Player | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| Haji Wright | 15 | 7 | 1 |
| Jamie Vardy | 18 | 6 | 3 |
| Patson Daka | 8 | 1 | 0 |
| Odsonne Edouard | 6 | 0 | 0 |
Wright is expected to return to full fitness in the near future, potentially opening the door for a January exit.
