Bologna are keen to make Victor Kristiansen’s loan move from Leicester City permanent just months after signing him.

Kristiansen only signed for the Foxes in January. After a short stint in the side, Dean Smith’s side was relegated.

Following relegation it appeared that several players were going to move away from the King Power.

The full back was signed by Bologna on a season-long loan and a buy option of £15 million was inserted.

After a good start to life in Serie A it has been reported by TuttoMercatoWeb that a permanent deal is wanted.

With that being said, La Dotta want a cut price for the Danish international.

Should Leicester sell Victor Kristiansen?

Given his age and the fact he has had a great start to life in Italy, there is reason for his fee to go up rather than down.

It looks like the Foxes could find themselves in the Premier League next season. This may give Kristiansen an opportunity to return.

The rumours suggest that if Leicester remain in the Championship, a cheap deal is more likely.

Looking at his stats while in Italy, he has been a defensive star. He ranks in the top 10% in tackles and blocks compared to Europe’s top five leagues.

With Callum Doyle featuring on the left-hand side this season, Kristiansen could definitely have a role under Enzo Maresca.

No matter what fee Bologna want to pay, the Foxes need to stick to their guns and get a fair price if they are to sell.
