Leicester City are set to ramp up negotiations over the potential arrival of Galatasaray winger Yunus Akgun.
Leicester have struggled to score thus far in the Championship considering the level of forward they have.
With only Stephy Mavididi coming in as reinforcement in the forward department so far which has left them looking toothless at times despite Mavididi’s goal.
Therefore it is thought if Leicester were to sign another player this summer, it would likely come in the form of a right-sided attacker.
Which is exactly the position they seem to be in talks to strengthen with Kasey McAteer not proving to be up to scratch yet.

Talks heating up for Leicester
The Foxes are said to have identified Galatasaray’s 23-year-old winger Yunus Akgun as the perfect incoming to improve their options.
According to reports in Turkey, coming via Leicestershire Live, talks have been ‘accelerated’ for the Turkish winger.
It had previously been reported that Leicester were keen on bringing the winger to the club, and a loan-move has also been mentioned along with an option to buy, and straight up permanent move.
Akgun played 25 games for Gala last season, only scoring once and providing four assists which aren’t great numbers.
However, given Enzo Maresca’s keenness to bring him to the King Power stadium, he must see potential in the player.
To add fuel to this report, Galatasaray have also said to have agreed a fee to sign Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea.
The Moroccan attacker plays in the same position as Akgun which could make a move favourable.
Akgun would likely see his game-time reduced once Ziyech arrives so a move could suit all parties.
