Chelsea youngster Cesare Casadei has emerged as a priority target for Enzo Maresca and Leicester City.
Leicester are in the midst of a rebuild attempting to build a side which is capable of immediately regaining their Premier League status.
Having already welcomed the arrival of five players in the form of Harry Winks, Conor Coady, Stephy Mavididi, Mads Hermansen and Callum Doyle on-loan from Manchester City.
However the incomings pale in comparison with the outgoings seeing arguably the Foxes three best players leave.
James Maddison joined Spurs, Harvey Barnes joined Newcastle while Villa acquired Youri Tielemans after his contract expired.
This has led Maresca to continue on the hunt for new players, with a Chelsea youngster becoming a target in midfield.

Leicester await final Casadei decision
Leicester were first linked with Casadei back in June, with Maresca keen on signing his compatriot.
With the view of him starring in the centre of midfield due to his impressive performances for Italy in the Under-20 World Cup.
Now it seems a deal is not far away, with Leicestershire Live claiming that the Foxes are currently awaiting the final decision from Chelsea.
It is thought they made a fresh approach for Casadei, but now are confident a deal can be done but it all rides on Chelsea.
Casadei is an incredibly talented midfielder who is technically brilliant, which is exactly what Maresca is looking for as he aims for a possession style of play.
The Italian has spent the summer on Chelsea’s pre-season tour of America where he impressed as he helped the Blues lift the inaugural Premier League summer series trophy.
