Leicester City are starting to accelerate their transfer plans as deadline day is fast approaching.
Leicester have taken a loan out to boost their transfer kitty, so there’s expected to be movement in the coming days.
Leicester have enquired about Strahinja Pavlovic this week as they look to strengthen their defensive ranks.
Ruud van Nistelrooy is also keen to add an attacker to his squad and there’s been talk of Julio Enciso, but he is now set to join relegation rivals Ipswich Town.
That said, a fresh rumour has just emerged linking Leicester to a talented Scottish wide player.

Leicester join race to sign Evan Mooney
According to Scottish outlet Daily Record, Leicester have joined the race to sign St Mirren sensation Evan Mooney.
Mooney is enjoying a brilliant breakout season in professional football and is already attracting interest from a number of clubs in the Premier League.
The 17-year-old, who primarily operates as a right-winger, is being watched by Arsenal and Newcastle United, so clearly Leicester are facing stiff competition for his signature.
It’s understood Leicester have been tracking Mooney since he made his debut for the Scottish outfit back in October.
Mooney’s only senior goal to date came in a 3-2 win against St Johnstone last month.
Mooney regarded as one of Scotland’s best prospects
The report further adds that Mooney is widely regarded as one of Scottish football’s best talents and St Mirren rate him very highly.
Such is why they’ve decided to fast-track the 2007-born, who has racked up six senior appearances since breaking through in the Autumn.
Evidently, though, the potential capture of Mooney will surely be part of Leicester’s long-term plan, rather than throwing him straight into a Premier League relegation battle.
If City do land his signature, they’ll have to pay a compulsory compensation fee due to his age.
