Sevilla have reportedly submitted a bid to sign Leicester City midfielder Boubakary Soumare but they face competition for his signature.

Leicester City have seen an exodus this summer with countless players departing the club.

Following the relegation from the Premier League last season, many players have been released or sold.

Jonny Evans, Ryan Bertrand, Nampalys Mendy, Ayoze Perez, Daniel Amartey, Naglar Soyuncu and Youri Tielemans all left the club following the expiry of their contracts.

Meanwhile Harvey Barnes and James Maddison have been sold for roughly a combined £85.7million.

This huge degree of outgoings hasn’t been reciprocated in the incomings with six players coming in, with just four being permanent.

It also seems that Enzo Maresca’s side is about to get thinner, with another player linked with a move away.

Soumare linked with a move away

The latest player subject to a rumoured move away from the King Power stadium is Soumare who has seemed to be out of favour since the arrival of Maresca.

According to El Desmarque, there is now a good chance he could leave, with two clubs seriously interested in his services.

Soumare arrived at Leicester a hugely exciting talent from Lille however has never quite managed to live up to his potential.

The midfielder has made 59 appearances for the Foxes however a move now seems to be on the cards.

The report adds that along with Sevilla, Galatasaray are also considering a move to sign the Frenchman.

Should he leave, it would leave Leicester seriously short in midfield and requiring further reinforcements than the two they’ve already signed this summer.
