Leicester City need to strengthen in all areas of the pitch if they are to avoid relegation this season.
With 42 goals shipped already this term, defensive reinforcements are expected at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester City can now sign a £10m player after his current club made him available for transfer this month.
However, other areas of Ruud van Nistelrooy’s squad should and seemingly will be looked at in the winter.
At present, the Midlands outfit have Jamie Vardy, Patson Daka and Odsonne Edouard as their primary number nines.
However, Edouard is set to leave Leicester during the winter window but the club already look to be working on a replacement for him.

Leicester City now rivalling Nottingham Forest for Petar Musa
Vardy is Leicester’s top scorer in the Premier League this season with six but outside of the ageing forward, there aren’t too many goals being produced on a consistent basis.
In turn, fresh legs up top for the second half of this season and potentially as a long-term replacement for Vardy does make sense.
Now, the Foxes have been linked with a move for MLS centre-forward, Petar Musa.
According to journalist Rudy Galetti, both Nottingham Forest and Leicester have asked about the 26-year-old hitman.
In a big boost, his current club, FC Dallas, are said to be open to a sale but will demand at least €18m (around £14.9m) for his services.

Everything Leicester City fans need to know about Petar Musa
Born in Zagreb, Musa began his playing career with NK Hrvatski Dragovoljac Youth before moving to NK Zagreb and then Inter Zapresic.
He then left his home country of Croatia in 2017 to link up with Slavia Prague. He has since enjoyed stints all across Europe at the likes of Union Berlin and Benfica.
The six-time capped international left the latter in February 2024 to link up with his current team.
The MLS season is currently on its break but Musa did score 23 goals and provide five assists in all competitions during 2023/24 for both Benfica and Dallas.
The forward’s current contract runs until 2027 but, as reported above, the American side are open to letting him leave this year.
