Leicester City star Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is a target of several Premier League clubs and now the latest update has emerged on Arsenal’s pursuit of the 25-year-old.
After demolishing Stoke City 5-0 on Saturday, Enzo Maresca’s Leicester City have created an 11-point gap between them and Southampton at the top of the Championship.
With clear breathing space, the Foxes can afford to slip up a few times without surrendering any ground in their pursuit of a record-breaking title win.
During their incredible season so far, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has undeniably emerged as one of the standout performers in the second tier.
As a result of his impressive performances from midfield having reached double figures for goals and assists, Dewsbury-Hall has attracted interest from several Premier League sides.
The Athletic reported that Brighton were pushing the hardest to sign the 25-year-old while Arsenal and Fulham were also monitoring the midfielder.
In the January transfer window, a departure was always highly unlikely given Leicester are vying for promotion back to the top flight and losing one of their standout players would have been disastrous.
This has only opened the possibility of him leaving in the summer, regardless of whether promotion is achieved or not.

Dewsbury-Hall is a target on Arsenal’s radar
Journalist Dean Jones has revealed to GIVEMESPORT that Dewsbury-Hall could be on the radar of Arsenal in the summer.
Mikel Arteta is looking for someone to potentially replace Thomas Partey and it isn’t often that a player of the Englishman’s calibre becomes available.
Jones claims that Dewsbury-Hall – who was hailed by Maresca as a ‘dangerous’ player – would fit perfectly into what Arteta is trying to do at the Emirates Stadium while offering a long-term solution to their midfield problem.
He said: “Dewsbury-Hall, a player that’s creative, definitely somebody that I could see that would be on their radar. I know for a fact that as well as being open to signing a new striker, they also feel like they might need another wide player.
“I think a creator like Dewsbury Hall who can be versatile and who can bring a spark to games. It’s not very often these players become available. I don’t think he’d be top of Arsenal’s list to be honest, but he’s certainly somebody that would fit what they’re trying to do under Arteta.”
Leicester will find it difficult to keep Dewsbury-Hall
As a graduate of the club’s academy, Dewsbury-Hall’s affiliation with Leicester gives supporters hope that he will stay beyond the summer.
Yet, once a top club like Arsenal come calling, it would be easy for his head to turn to the prospect of playing Champions League football.
The chances of him reaching those heights with Leicester are low and he has to ultimately make the right decision for his career.
While the Foxes hope that’s him continuing the journey with his boyhood club, the opportunity to play for a side like Arsenal doesn’t come around often and should they come in for him, he may be persuaded to jump ship.
