Leicester City are one of three clubs reportedly interested in Montpellier forward Stephy Mavididi.
The 25-year-old forward, who was born just down the road from Leicester in Derby, is a product of the Arsenal academy and Fabrizio Romano has stated that he is an option for the Foxes.
He has 31 Football League appearances to his name already from previous loan spells with Charlton Athletic and Preston North End, but has spent the majority of his career abroad with Juventus, Dijon and most recently Montpellier.
Leicester are not alone in their interest towards Mavididi with Club Brugge and Lille also said to be keen on the Englishman.

Having signed for La Paillade in 2020, Mavididi has made 98 appearances in total, scoring 21 goals and assisting a further five.
An astonishing statistic is that he holds the record for most number of Ligue 1 appearances by an English footballer. The previous holder was Chris Waddle with 107 appearances, Mavididi now has 115 in total.
Any deal that the Foxes could strike with the Montpellier ace would depend on outgoings, however, with Harvey Barnes’ potential sale not yet having been completed, it would make a deal difficult to pursue this very moment under the EFL’s strict transfer policy.
Is Mavididi the right fit for Leicester?
Leicester’s current forward line consists of Jamie Vardy, Patson Daka and Kelechi Iheanacho. The latter of which seems destined for a move away, most recently being linked with a controversial switch to Nottingham Forest.
With Vardy now at the ripe age of 36, and Daka’s future also up in the air, it is crucial that Leicester bring in attacking additions this season.
The Foxes have also been heavily linked with Swansea talisman Joel Piroe, but a double swoop for both Piroe and Mavididi would be quite the statement.
