Nottingham Forest already have one former Leicester City star in their ranks and could be adding to it in the summer.
Chris Wood is enjoying an Indian summer on the red half of the East Midlands and showing the sign of form that Leicester desperately need one of their strikers to replicate.
Forest are in some ways mirroring what the Foxes did less than five years ago by upsetting the establishment and challenging for a Champions League spot.
But, they are keen to avoid a repeat of Leicester’s fortunes right now but are looking at one former Fox as a potential summer target.

Nottingham Forest transfer news: Ademola Lookman could be summer target
Ademola Lookman has gone from strength to strength since his loan spell at the King Power Stadium having been named African Footballer of the Year and scoring a hat trick in the 2024 Europa League final for Atalanta.
It’s a remarkable rise for the Nigeria international, who is one of the best players in Serie A. A number of Premier League clubs are considering bringing him back to England and according to TeamTalk, Forest are one of those.
They state that interest may increase if Forest can secure a lucrative Champions League spot and as Leicester fans know already, a player of that quality is not someone you’d want to come up against.

Brendan Rodgers is a huge fan of Ademola Lookman
Brendan Rodgers was the Leicester manager at the time the Foxes signed Lookman.
Sadly, finances prevented Lookman from joining Leicester permanently but he was one of the key players that saw Rodgers and co reach the semi finals of the UEFA Conference League.
Rodgers came up against Lookman earlier in the season when his Celtic side played Atalanta and he ran out of superlatives to describe his former player.
“He’s an absolutely brilliant young player. We stayed in contact and when I was at Leicester, we wanted to bring in another winger and inquired about his availability when he was at Red Bull,” Rodgers explained.
“He came in and he was absolutely brilliant for me in that season, he was there, he scored some outstanding goals. I remember a great individual goal against Liverpool.”
“When he came to Leicester, you could see everything he was. He leads his life in the right way. Everything is geared towards being the best he can be.”
