Leicester City produced an embarrassing performance after losing 4-0 against Everton at Goodison Park.
The Foxes came into this game on the back of a morale-boosting 2-1 victory over Tottenham but the positive spirits were soon dampened in the opening seconds of this contest.
Abdoulaye Doucoure’s goal inside 10 seconds set the tone for a terrible afternoon as Everton carved through a porous Leicester defence.
It quickly got from bad to worse for Ruud van Nistelrooy as another ball in behind the visitors high line was pounced upon by Beto, who calmly finished past the returning Mads Hermansen.
Leicester’s centre-back duo of Jannik Vestergaard and Wout Faes were then caught out on the stroke of half-time once more as Beto netted his second, putting the game beyond Van Nistelrooy’s men before Iliman Ndiaye added a fourth in the 90th minute.
Considering Everton were only one place and six points above the Foxes before this game, this was a completely disgraceful performance and the supporters directed their frustrations at one man.

Furious Leicester City fans direct their anger at Jon Rudkin during Everton loss
Leicester’s struggles on the pitch aren’t helped by their mismanagement off it as the Premier League outfit have made just one signing in the transfer window so far.
Van Nistelrooy is confident of further additions before the deadline however, with just two days left remaining in the window, time is running out.
As a result, supporters have directed their frustrations towards director of football Jon Rudkin, who has come under fire on numerous occasions this term.
Leicester fans slammed Rudkin during the loss to Fulham in January, and they couldn’t control their anger once more after what they saw at Goodison.
“Hopefully that piece of paper covering Rudkin’s gob is his resignation letter but I very much doubt it, job for life,” one fan wrote.
“And we’re not even close to signing a new CB… Good job rudkin,” another replied.
“This is the worst @LCFC team I’ve seen in over 30 years of being a fan. The way those in charge have destroyed the club in the last five years is a disgrace. Get Rudkin out and out now,” a third angrily commented.
Another fan even suggested a protest against the board: “Sack the board. Too and Rudkin in the stands doing nothing. Get them all out. We need to protest on the 15th.”
“That Edouard deal has got to be up there with 1 of the worst deals in the club’s history! Rudkin should be sacked off that deal alone!” a sixth exclaimed while questioning the Odsonne Edouard transfer.
“P45 for Rudkin required,” one fan simply stated.
Leicester destined for the Championship
Leicester’s brilliant win over an out-of-form Tottenham side somewhat masked what a horrible run it’s been for Van Nistelrooy.
It was seven losses on the bounce before then, and whilst he hasn’t been handed the best tools, eight losses in nine matches is unacceptable.
This result also reinforces how much Leicester need to do in the window but with only two days left, the fans have rightfully directed their frustrations at the board.
Unfortunately, the appointment of Van Nistelrooy, lack of transfer activity and abysmal performances on the pitch will result in relegation unless serious changes are made in the coming days.
