Jamie Vardy trolls Tottenham fans with hilarious celebration after scoring for Leicester City

Jamie Vardy has established a reputation for being a chief rustler and once again, the master was at work after his equalising goal against Tottenham Hotspur.

It looked like a familiar story for the Foxes in the first half as Richarlison capitalised on Wout Faes’ lazy defending to prod home the opening goal.

In previous weeks this has been a catalyst for Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side to capitulate but as the second half started, a different team emerged.

When times are hard and Leicester need a man to turn to, Jamie Vardy is usually the saviour and once again, he did it in style.

Jamie Vardy trolls fans after scoring for Leicester

Vardy has a habit of winding up Spurs in previous years after the Leicester legend posted a hilarious response to Harry Kane after the Foxes beat the North London club to the Premier League title.

Spurs were looking for revenge against Leicester in light of that but after taking the lead, found themselves level straight after the break.

Bobby De-Cordova Reid’s low-driven cross evaded the Tottenham defence and fell kindly to the path of Vardy, who had an empty net to tap into.

He wasn’t done there though as he pointed to the Premier League badge before mouthing “1-0” to the home supporters – referencing the number of Premier League titles Leicester had won compared to Spurs.

Jamie Vardy closing in on another milestone

There’s no denying that Vardy is one of, if not, the greatest Leicester players of all time.

Time and time again he has been to the rescue and won just about everything he possibly could’ve won in his time in the East Midlands

Additionally, he’s broken so many records and by scoring at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, closed in on another.

His second half strike was his 198th in Leicester colours meaning he only needs two more to reach the magic 200.

Over 140 of those have been in the top flight too and for someone who didn’t kick a ball in the Premier League until he was 27, he really is something else.
