Leicester City have sent a number of players on loan this season.
Steve Cooper and Ruud van Nistelrooy have both signed off a number of temporary deals in order to further the development of some of the club’s brightest academy stars.
Sammy Braybrooke and Will Alves, both of whom represent England at youth level, finally get their first loans this term.
Alves is flourishing at Cardiff City, having joined in January, though, Sammy Braybrooke’s stint with Dundee FC didn’t go to plan.
Braybrooke is now back training with the under-21s at Seagrave and is continuing to impress in the Premier League 2.
Leicester also shipped Ben Nelson on loan for the season with Championship outfit Oxford United but he’s been sidelined with injury for a few months.
Now, there’s been a positive update on his situation.

Ben Nelson pictured back in training with Oxford United
Ben Nelson was really impressing at Oxford up until a quad injury, which required surgery, ruled him out for over three months.
Nelson has been completing his rehab at Seagrave since November but now he’s been pictured back in Oxford training in a massive boost to Gary Rowett’s side.
The England under-20 international was videoed walking out onto the training pitch, so clearly, his return is imminent.
Oxford are in action against Norwich City on Friday night and perhaps Nelson could make the substitutes bench.
Nelson should be Leicester’s starting centre-back next season
Whatever division Leicester are in next season, Nelson should be the starting centre-back as he’s more than proved his worth.
The towering defender has been through the loan cycle with Rochdale, Doncaster Rovers and now Oxford.
Nelson impressed under Enzo Maresca last season, too, so he’s certainly ready to make the step up to Van Nistelrooy’s squad.
The Dutch boss will be keeping tabs on his development over the coming months.
