Leicester City predicted XI vs Brentford as Ruud van Nistelrooy makes three changes

Leicester City are preparing to host Brentford at the King Power Stadium on Friday evening.

Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side are in desperate need of three points as they stare down the barrel of an instant return to the Championship.

Leicester have lost nine of their last 10 Premier League outings and now reside in 19th place, two points adrift from 17th-placed Wolves.

Ahead of Friday’s clash, Van Nistelrooy confirmed that Andy King will now be part of his first-team staff as the club hope he’ll be able to build a bridge between the academy and the senior side.

The Dutchman also announced, in his presser, that James Justin is a major doubt having not trained all week, so with that said, here is the predicted starting line-up as he makes three changes.

Leicester City predicted XI vs Brentford

Mads Hermansen indeed retains his spot in goal with a slightly changed back four ahead of him.

Woyo Coulibaly replaces Justin at right-back with Wout Faes, Caleb Okoli and Viktor Kristiansen forming the rest of the defence.

Wilfred Ndidi, Boubakary Soumare and Bilal El Khannouss make up the midfield three and it’s all change in attack.

Bobby De Cordova Reid and Jordan Ayew just haven’t provided enough of a threat on the flanks, so in comes Stephy Mavididi and Facundo Buonanotte.

City need to attack the game, especially at home, so the inclusion of Mavididi and Buonanotte should bring a much greater attacking threat.

And finally, up top, Jamie Vardy assumes his usual spot.

Leicester predicted XI (4-3-3): Hermansen; Coulibaly, Faes, Okoli, Kristiansen; Ndidi, Soumare; Buonanotte, El Khannouss, Mavididi; Vardy.
