Leicester City are still seeking their first Premier League win of the season as Steve Cooper prepares his side to take on Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Steve Cooper has seen his side triumph just once since taking over from Enzo Maresca early in the summer, with Leicester City beating Tranmere Rovers 4-0 in the Carabao Cup.
Leicester City hung in against a dominant Tottenham Hotspur side in the first game of the season to earn a point few could argue they deserved, but have lost consecutive league games 2-1 since then.
Cooper will likely have welcomed the first international break of the season as an opportunity to reflect on the first few weeks of the campaign and try and find a way to secure a first Premier League win of the season against Crystal Palace.

History against Steve Cooper ahead of Leicester City vs Crystal Palace
The bad news is that Cooper will not only have to overcome a poor start to the season to beat Palace but also sees history against his Leicester side.
That is because Palace have beat no side more than they have Leicester in the Premier League and will rack up a tenth win against the Foxes in the competition if they are victorious at Selhurst Park.
To add to that, Leicester have not beaten Palace away since November 2019 and have won just twice at the home of the Eagles in 12 years.
Leicester won 2-0 in the 2019 clash, with goals from Caglar Soyuncu and Jamie Vardy the difference.

Leicester should take confidence from poor Crystal Palace start

Whilst this is clearly a fixture that Leicester have struggled to win in recent history, Leicester will be hopeful that they can benefit from Palace’s equally poor start to the new season.
Oliver Glasner’s side also have just one point and lost to Brentford and West Ham before drawing against Chelsea last time out.
There is some real talent within the Palace ranks and the likes of Wout Faes and Caleb Okoli will have to be at their best to stop Eberechi Eye and Jean-Philippe Mateta, but if they can do that Cooper will be confident they can hurt Saturday’s opponents.
One of the positives for Leicester is that they have scored in each of their games since returning to the Premier League so if they can keep Palace’s attackers at bay they could earn a much-needed three points.
