Leicester City manager, Enzo Maresca has revealed the reason he was pleased with training this week, despite the international break.
Over the past two weeks, Leicester City had nine first-team players away with their nations for various qualifiers and friendlies.
Several players made a splash on the international stage with Yunus Akgun scoring a great goal, a Patson Daka brace and a dubious Harry Souttar goal.
Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi, Wout Faes and Mads Hermansen were the City starters away from the club.

As a result of this, you may expect the Foxes’ manager to be annoyed to be without so many members of his squad. This couldn’t be further from the case.
What has Enzo Maresca said?
Leicester are making a trip to Wales this weekend to face midtable side, Swansea City.
Michael Duff’s side have had an up-and-down start to the season, winning and losing four games while drawing three.
With so many of the Foxes’ first-team players being away, there is a chance they could be off their game come 3 p.m. Saturday.
Maresca didn’t have this worry: “We have 10 or 11 players here, we tried to focus on something specific.
“When you like to be on the pitch coaching players, it’s the best moment.”
It is clear that the Italian manager has relished the chance to get some time on the training pitch with his team.
A focus on certain players has been in his plans: “This time, more with Stephy, Abdul, the wingers, including Marc. It’s the best time.”

With so many winger options it is important that he can get the best out of them all.
Given Leicester’s start to the season, there doesn’t appear to be any reason to worry. Even with a lack of time, Maresca will get the most out of his side.
With strength in depth, the Foxes are a danger when full strength or not.
