Leicester City are embroiled in a dogfight at the bottom of the Premier League. Ruud van Nistelrooy has no room for error as he looks to guide the Foxes to unlikely survival.
Two points from safety, but with 16 games still to play, Leicester’s future is in their own hands. Every match between now and the end of the season is going to need to be played like a cup final though.

Knowing the importance of picking up as many points as possible before May’s dramatic conclusion, Van Nistelrooy must rely on every single one of Leicester City’s first-team players.
And for one youngster, that has meant being recalled from a recent loan spell.

Leicester City recall Brandon Cover from Port Vale loan
Deciding to bolster Van Nistelrooy’s defensive options, Leicester City have recalled young full-back Brandon Cover from his loan spell with Port Vale.
Cover joined Port Vale on loan last summer and was expected to see out the entire campaign. The Foxes have been forced to bring the 21-year-old back to the King Power ahead of time due to their struggles though.
During his six months with the League Two outfit, Cover scored two goals in 20 appearances in all competitions.
The defender returns injury-free and is a contender to be included in Leicester’s squad against Tottenham on Sunday.
Cover’s return bad news for one struggling Fox
Fans have been calling for Cover to come back and provide cover (no pun intended) for the underperforming James Justin, and it seems their wish has been granted.
James has been one of Van Nistelrooy’s worst players.
Although hugely experienced, having featured in over 80 top-flight matches, the 26-year-old’s bad form is proving costly, and with the Foxes having the second-leakiest defence in the league, there is no room for passengers.
Even though James is unlikely to be immediately dropped, he will certainly need to up his game if he is to remain Van Nistelrooy’s first-choice right-back.
