Leicester City are on the hunt for a new manager after parting ways with Steve Cooper.

Leicester confirmed that they had sacked Cooper in a statement on Sunday, along with assistant manger Alan Tate and First Team Coach and Analyst Steve Rands.

Cooper won four games in total as the Leicester boss, two in the Premier League and two in the Carabao Cup, but performances and a failure to connect with the fans was the nail in the coffin.

He leaves Leicester with the Foxes 16th in the top flight.

Who is the next Leicester City manager?

So far there have been a whole heap of names in contention.

Graham Potter appears to be one of the favourites. Potter was linked with the Leicester job in the summer and the former Chelsea boss has been described as the ‘perfect replacement’.

David Moyes is another name being thrown around. Moyes has been out of work since leaving West Ham United in the summer. His Premier League experience and know-how is also vital for a side who are more than likely going to be in a relegation battle.

Some of the more obscure candidates have included Ruud van Nistelrooy, Esteban Cambiasso and Maurizio Sarri.
