Leicester City were once again on the losing side as the Foxes fell to a 1-0 defeat against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The result leaves Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side five points off Wolves with ten games left to go in the Premier League, with time quickly running out for the Dutch manager to turn things around after winning just one of his last 13 league games.

With Victor Kristiansen facing criticism for conceding a penalty against Chelsea, Leicester knew they could have been better this afternoon in west London, especially with the scoreline being as close as it was in the end for the visitors.
Yet it’s not all doom and gloom for Leicester, with one player winning big praise from former Premier League goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer for their performance against Chelsea this afternoon.

Leicester’s Mads Hermansen praised after ‘brilliant’ penalty save vs Chelsea
Speaking on BBC Sport, the former Leicester and Chelsea shot-stopper was impressed with what he saw from Mads Hermansen, who stepped up in a big way in the first-half to deny Cole Palmer from scoring a penalty for the Blues.
Manchester United have been linked with Hermansen in recent weeks with the 24-year-old shot-stopper firmly putting himself in the shop window heading into the summer transfer window, where Leicester’s potential relegation could see many Premier League clubs register an interest in a Dane.
And the young goalkeeper’s valuation only increased this afternoon after Hermansen’s performance against Chelsea, with Schwarzer very impressed with what he saw from the Scandinavian talent at Stamford Bridge.
The former Austrialia international said after Hermansen’s penalty save against Palmer: “It’s a brilliant save from Mads Hermansen. He waits till the last second. Cole Palmer hit it with power and it’s really great save.”
Mads Hermansen ends incredible Cole Palmer record
Although ending up on the losing side once again, Hermansen showed why he is rightfully considered one of the best young goalkeepers in the Premier League and a talent who could bank Leicester a good fee in the summer.
Yet the Danish goalkeeper also broke an impressive record with his penalty save today at Stamford Bridge, with Hermansen becoming the first goalkeeper to deny Palmer from the spot, ending the England international’s 100% record.
Indeed, Hermansen is set for big things beyond this season, and ending Palmer’s penalty record will go a long way in the goalkeeper landing a major move in the summer transfer window whether or not Leicester stay up.
