Enzo Maresca has confirmed that any players who failed to confirm a move away from the King Power will be given a chance to play their part.
Deadline day came and it seemed certain that Patson Daka and Harry Souttar would be leaving the club.
As time ticked over and the window closed, the striker and centre half were still at the club.
Daka was heavily linked to AC Milan, Bournemouth and Everton throughout the window but no deal could be agreed.
Souttar looked like he was going to be a Rangers player, but with the finances and issue, he also remains.
Neither have played any competitive football this season, so would take time to come up to speed, but Maresca is willing to give them a chance.

When asked about these players chances of returning: “Yes. In the moment that the transfer window closes, all the players that are here, it’s like a reset, a restart.”
There is no grudges bared by the manager who understands why players want to leave.
When discussing this he said: “It is what it is. If you want to leave, you don’t leave, and you stay, it is what it is.
“It’s not because of me or because of the club or because of the player, it’s a mix between all of us. The moment you decide to leave and you don’t leave, you have to stay.”
With the signing of Tom Cannon, joining up with Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho, there is a lot of competition for a starting role.
Similarly with Souttar, the signing of Callum Doyle and Conor Coady, in the mix with Wout Faes and Jannik Vestergaard, there is plenty of strength in depth.
Maresca has a good thing going right now at the King Power and it will take some doing to dislodge the starting eleven.
