The brilliant English striker has lifted a Premier League title, an FA Cup and won two promotions during his time at Leicester, with his goals propelling them to success.
Vardy has an incredible 198 goals in 491 appearances for the Foxes as the 38-year-old closes in on the 200-goal mark.
But it’s more than just match-winning moments that he’s brought to the King Power Stadium, as the former England international’s infectious attitude and likeable personality have seen him flourish alongside many quality players.
Riyad Mahrez is arguably the pick of the bunch. The Algerian trickster wowed Leicester fans with his impeccable skill and technical abilities during his four years at the club, but according to Vardy, there was one aspect off the pitch that let him down.

Speaking to Soccer AM in 2017 for their ‘teammates’ series, Vardy revealed that Mahrez picked up the most fines in the Leicester squad for constantly being late.
“Where do I start? Who picks up the most fines? Riyad Mahrez,” he said. “It’s for the same thing every single time, for being late. So we have pre-match at the stadium, and you see him rushing in with two seconds to go and he’s the same here in training. But pays his fines, so not going to complain.”
The fleet-footed winger may have suffered from ill-discipline off the pitch that could have resulted in him dropping out of the team but he was just too good to leave out, as demonstrated by what he achieved in Leicestershire.

Mahrez has one of the best touches in world football. He continues to show that in Saudi Arabia with his side Al-Riyadh as he approaches the end of his professional career.
In January, Mahrez scored a sensational goal for Al-Riyadh that went viral, and it was the type of brilliance he produced countless times for Leicester.
