Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall broke the hearts of many Leicester City fans in the summer after completing his transfer to Chelsea.
Dewsbury-Hall had just helped fire Leicester to the Championship title under Enzo Maresca but couldn’t resist linking up with the Italian boss at Chelsea.
Since Dewsbury-Hall completed a £30 million switch to Stamford Bridge, the midfield dynamo has struggled for consistent minutes and form.
Only at the start of March, Chelsea fans labelled Dewsbury-Hall a flop he produced an underwhelming display against Copenhagen in the Europa Conference League.
Luckily, the 26-year-old redeemed himself in the second leg by scoring the winner to send his side through to the quarter-finals where they’ll play Legia Warsaw.
In football terms, Dewsbury-Hall is yet to reach the peak of his powers, but he’s already planning for life after retirement.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has started a PFA Sporting Directorship course
According to Fabrizio Romano, Dewsbury-Hall has started studying for the PFA Sporting Directorship course.
Responsible for overseeing the club’s football operations, both on and off the field, a sporting director plays a vital role in a success of a team.
While many players dream of going into management or becoming top-level pundits, it appears Dewsbury-Hall wants to manage transfers of players to and from the football club.
Realistically, the Chelsea star has recognised that a career in professional sport isn’t very long and planning years ahead could give him a head start.
It’s a smart move from the Englishman, who could one day be involved in a Premier League club behind the scenes.
Dewsbury-Hall can’t do any worse than Jon Rudkin
The Director of Football at Leicester City is Jon Rudkin, and the 59-year-old has been responsible for the club’s downfall.
Fans have called for Rudkin to be sacked after watching him carry out a flawed transfer strategy in recent years, which includes throwing millions down the drain.
Leicester have sold £190 million worth of players for nothing, including Youri Tielemans, Ayoze Perez, and Kelechi Iheanacho, to name a few.
| Player | Bought for | Leave |
| Youri Tielemans | £38m | Free |
| Ayoze Perez | £28m | Free |
| Islam Slimani | £26m | Free |
| Kelechi Iheanacho | £23m | Free |
| Caglar Soyuncu | £18m | Free |
| Adrien Silva | £18m | Free |
| Dennis Praet | £17m | Free |
| Nampalys Mendy | £12m | Free |
| Filip Benkovic | £12m | Free |
But, one of his biggest mistakes recently was advising the Leicester owner to appoint Ruud van Nistelrooy, who has arguably been one of the worst managers in their history.
Although he hasn’t been dealt the greatest of hands, the Dutchman has lost 13 of his last 14 league matches, highlighting how out of depth he is tactically.
So, when Dewsbury-Hall is looking for inspiration in the world of sporting directors, Rudkin is someone he needs to avoid.
