Leicester City have avoided a PSR breach for the 2023-24 campaign.
For weeks, there have been rumours that Leicester may be at risk of a points deduction for a possible breach during the promotion-winning season last term.
But John Percy announced on Tuesday morning that the Foxes will not face any charges and no complaint has been brought against the club.
So it’s certainly a day of relief for Leicester as a whole in their quest to avoid relegation and retain their Premier League status.
Fans have been reacting to the positive news on X (formerly known as Twitter) and they’re all saying the same thing.

Leicester fans absolutely over the moon after club avoid PSR breach
Leicester fans are absolutely over the moon with the PSR outcome and have now urged their side to pick up a massive three points against Crystal Palace tomorrow.
“WOW. BOMBSHELL. That’s MASSIVE news. How on earth have they managed that. Experts all over the country predicted LCFC to fail yet somehow we’ve gotten off,” @BlueTintedLCFC said.
@RizLCFC commented: “Wow. What a huge relief that is. This has to serve as a boost for the players ahead of tomorrow. Wins needed on the pitch.”
@Samlee1991 added: “Huge news, now go and win tomorrow!”
“WE’VE DONE IT AGAIN,” @Harrylcfc123 posted.
@MarkgLcfc added: “Now, lets get some points against Palace and Fulham this week.”
“No excuse to stay up now mind,” @lukellis37 said.
Leicester need to use positive PSR outcome as fuel
The positive verdict has given Leicester a massive boost in their fight to avoid the drop but they must now deliver on the pitch.
The Foxes are up against fellow strugglers Crystal Palace tomorrow before another home clash against Fulham, so there are winnable games coming up.

Leicester defeated QPR 6-2 on the weekend, ending a run of five straight losses, so they’ll be desperate to put together two wins on the bounce.
Could this verdict kickstart City’s season?
