Leicester City’s FA Cup dream was brought to an end when they clashed with Manchester United.
The Foxes previously won the competition in 2021, beating Chelsea 1-0 in the final.
Leicester City hammered Queens Park Rangers in the first round of the competition this season but were bested in the fourth round by Ruud van Nistelrooy’s old club.
Harry Maguire scored an offside goal to send his former side out, with Ruud van Nistelrooy left angry at the blatant error.
VAR was not in place for Man Utd vs Leicester but had it been, it could have led to the Foxes earning a huge win.
Despite another loss heading their way, a number of players impressed for the relegation-threatened team on the night.
Wilfred Ndidi was immense for Leicester on his return to the side while Bilal El Khannouss shone against Man Utd.

Leicester City fans argue over Patson Daka and Jamie Vardy
While few supporters will disagree that the aforementioned duo were excellent against Man Utd, there has been a lot of debate on social media over Patson Daka and Jamie Vardy.
The former started up front on Friday, while Vardy was not named in the matchday squad owing to a suspected but not yet confirmed injury.
Following Daka’s outing in the FA Cup, one fan took to X/Twitter to write: “Call me mad but I genuinely believe Daka offers more all over the pitch than Vardy can at his current age.”
This sparked much debate, with Leicester fans seemingly split over Daka’s ability compared to Vardy.
One fan replied: “Linked the play really really well today. Needs to work on his first time finishing, but haven’t seen him get too many big chances in the limited minutes he’s had, let’s not pretend like Vardy has put away every big chance this season as well to be fair.”
A second added: “Offers everything but the ability to put the goal in the net,” while a third wrote: “I have said this all season.”
“100% agree, needs a run of games,” a fourth Leicester supporter agreed.
However, there are some who clearly do not rate Daka and took to the comment section of the post to express their views.
“As strong as a crisp packet in the wind,” one replied, while another responded: “I don’t know mate he is clearly useless.”
A third supporter added: “You are mad but Vardy is not great even,” with another simply stating: “I don’t.”

Patson Daka stats vs Manchester United
Van Nistelrooy praised Daka’s ‘quality’ when he came off the bench and scored as Leicester beat West Ham United 3-1 in his first game as manager.
The 26-year-old has only started one league game since then, however, and is yet to find the back of the net again.
| Patson Daka | Stats vs Manchester United |
| Minutes | 81 |
| Shots | 0 |
| Touches | 41 |
| Passes completed | 19/25 |
| Dribbles attempted (completed) | 2/2 |
| Duels (won) | 17 (6) |
He was decent against Manchester United but after he went off injured in the second half, there’s a chance neither Daka nor Vardy are fit to face Arsenal.
