Facundo Buonanotte is an obvious fan favourite at Leicester City.

Since joining on loan in the summer, Buonanotte has been one of Leicester’s best players this season.

The young Argentine has four goals to his name, bettered only by Jamie Vardy.

Although he didn’t score or assist in the Foxes’ 3-1 win against West Ham United on Tuesday, Buonanotte was still here, there and everywhere at the King Power Stadium.

Given his impressive performances, it was only a matter of time before the Leicester faithful came up with a chant for the 19-year-old and it appears it was worth the wait.

What is the song Leicester fans sing about Facundo Buonanotte?

Most players at Leicester have a chant dedicated to them but loan players are usually an exception.

Such is the way he has performed, Buonanotte has captured the hearts of fans, who sung in unison together on Tuesday.

To the tune of Take me Home, Country Roads by John Denver, the song goes:

Facundo, Facundo, Facundo,

“FA-CUN-DO!

“Buonanotte, he plays for City,

“Facundo, Facundo.

Facundo Buonanotte is Leicester’s second best performer this season

Tuesday night certainly wasn’t Buonanotte’s best performance of the 2024/25 campaign, but that shouldn’t distract from how good he has been across the season.

Top five Leicester City performers by average rating

As per SofaScore, the 19-yea-old has the second best average rating of the Foxes first-team squad, with goalkeeper Mads Hermansen out on top.

Abdul Fatawu is third despite confirmation that Fatawu would be out for the rest of the season.

Wilfred Ndidi is in fourth spot whilst James Justin, who was criticised at Brentford, rounds out the top five.
