Leicester City have left themselves with a mountain to climb in their Premier League survival battle.
No side has lost more Premier League home games in a row without scoring (six) than the Foxes after being hammered by Brentford.
Ruud van Nistelrooy’s position is under threat as calls for the Dutchman to be sacked surfaced on social media.
Some fans think Sean Dyche should become Leicester manager and replace Van Nistelrooy with 12 games remaining until the end of the season.
Despite fans’ wishes, Leicester are unlikely to sack Van Nistelrooy due to how much it would cost them.
Instead, it’s about dealing with what they have until the end of the season and Mads Hermansen has challenged his team to pick up their game ahead of a crucial run-in.

Mads Hermansen sends rallying cry to Leicester teammates
Hermansen has come in for criticism since his return from injury after conceding 12 in his last four games.
Furthermore, Hermansen was involved in an altercation with Boubakary Soumare after the Foxes conceded their fourth goal.
Despite another setback, the Danish youngster is still confident they can stay up, but they must improve their game.
He told the club’s website: “We tried, as players and as a group, to lift the atmosphere to come out in a better way in the second half. I think we played with more control in the second half, but to lose 4-0 is not very good. To be in this league, we need to do so much more than that.
“We still have 12 games to play for the rest of the season and everything is still there for us. We’re still in it, but with performances like today, we need to realise we won’t make it. Some things need to change for the better.
“We all love to play the matches, in this league at this place. We need to bounce back, analyse, and get our heads right to go again on Thursday. I want to contribute to the team with saves which get us the points. Obviously I’m not doing that so there’s a lot of stuff we need to improve as a team and as individuals.”
Leicester City could miss out on huge Hermansen pay day if relegated
The general consensus among everyone associated with Leicester is that Hermansen will not be at the club next season.
Chelsea have been interested in Hermansen previously and could target him as the player to address their alarming goalkeeping issues.
If Leicester are to stay up, they could be well within their rights to command a fee upwards of £30m for his services.
However, relegation would mean a need to get players off of the books and with no top flight status to use as a bargaining tool, a reduced asking price would have to be considered.
This summer’s transfer window will see wholesale changes at the club and squeezing as much money as they can out of a deal is vital to that.
