There’s not long to go until the January transfer window opens and Leicester City will be one of the clubs hoping to do business.
Funds will be available for the Foxes in the winter and while defensive options may be Leicester’s priority, the attack could certainly do with improvements.
Loan deals will have to be thought about carefully but in the meantime there could be a chance to do a cut-price deal for a bright, young English talent.

Leicester City should sign James McAtee
One player who could be available in January is James McAtee of Manchester City.
According to The Telegraph, McAtee is unsettled at the Etihad Stadium after being overlooked by Pep Guardiola, despite City’s bad run of form.
Man City are experiencing an injury crisis and the 22-year-old has only made two appearances in all competitions.
The Foxes would face competition from several Premier League and Bundesliga clubs but have been tracking the youngster for a long time.
McAtee was linked with a loan move last season and will be also familiar with new Leicester assistant manager Brian Barry-Murphy who worked at Man City prior to his appointment.
With 18 months left on his deal and the chance to go and in dire need of first-team football, McAtee could be a smart piece of business and with experience at the bottom of the league following a loan spell at Sheffield United, he could prove to be a handy acquisition.
What has Pep Guardiola said about James McAtee?
Although he is yet to break into the star-studded Man City squad, Guardiola is a huge fan of the England U21 international.
During the summer the Catalonian described McAtee as a “special player” and was “curious” to see what he could do in the side.
That hasn’t come to fruition so far and in his most recent explanation for McAtee’s gametime, it appeared his fortunes wouldn’t be changing anytime soon.
He said: “Maybe it is unfair, maybe I’m wrong, it has happened in the past, but I had the feeling that in the bad moments the players who have to show and prove who we are as a team and what they have done in the past, I have to give them the keys to lead us to try and turn around the situation.”
