Doom and gloom is the constant feeling that surrounds Leicester City at the moment, with fans feeling a sense of anger towards the football club.
For the last few weeks and months they’ve been watching a group of Leicester players no longer playing for Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The Foxes have lost 13 of their last 14 matches in the league, with fans calling for Van Nistelrooy to be sacked as a result.
Leicester will return from the international break with a trip to Manchester City next week, and fans will no doubt dread how many goals they’ll witness against them.
Remarkably, one of the only positives this season is the performance of Mads Hermansen, who has now been nominated for a Premier League award.

Mads Hermansen nominated for Premier League Save of the Month
Although Leicester have conceded the second most goals with a total of 65, Hermansen can hold his head high.
The Danish shot-stopper has pulled off some wonderful saves to keep the score as low down as possible in games, and there’s no surprise that Manchester United are scouting Hermansen.
Arguably, one of the 24-year-old’s best games of the season came against Chelsea earlier this month. Leicester suffered a 1-0 defeat, but the youngster produced some incredible stops, including a penalty save to deny Cole Palmer.
Former goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer praised Hermansen for his reflexes, and now, that moment has been shortlisted for the Premier League Save of the Month award and deservedly so.
It’s been a rough couple of months for the Foxes, especially in defence, but at least their goalkeeper can hold his head high.

Hermansen can be on the wrong end of abysmal Premier League record
For all of the positives this season, Leicester have only kept one clean sheet in the top-flight in 2024/25, and that came in a 1-0 win over Bournemouth last year.
Alarmingly, even the 2007/08 Derby County team kept three clean sheets, meaning the Foxes will need to have three shut outs in their final nine games to just avoid being worse than a side that accumulated just 11 points in that campaign.
As it stands, they’re on track to become the joint-worst Premier League defence of all time, with Sheffield United keeping just one clean last season.
Hermansen doesn’t deserve to be the goalkeeper with this horrific record but that’s the reality currently facing him and Leicester.
