The transfer window is almost shut, but Leicester City are still trying to do everything they can to bring one more face through the door.
It’s only a matter of hours to go until the 2024 summer transfer window shuts its doors for good, but Leicester City are racing against the clock to get the deals done.
So far it’s been a day of loan exits for youngsters, however, there is still time to bring somebody in and the Foxes may be getting closer.

Leicester make late Odsonne Edouard approach
It was reported earlier in the day that Leicester had approached Crystal Palace to sign Odsonne Edouard on loan
The Foxes have been after a number nine all summer and when all hope looked like it had been lost, Edouard’s name popped up at the eleventh hour.
Steve Cooper will be hoping this one can be done before the 11 pm deadline and as reported by John Percy of the Telegraph, the Frenchman is undergoing a medical ahead of a prospective move to the King Power Stadium.
Tom Cannon set for Championship loan move

As one striker looks set to come in, another looks set to depart.
Tom Cannon has yet to be given a real chance to shine in the East Midlands, starting just three games since his move from Everton in the 2023 summer transfer window and the forward finally looks like he is going to be granted a move away.
Stoke City of the Championship are the frontrunners to sign the 21-year-old on loan, who will relish the chance to get some much-needed minutes.

Ben Nelson also set for deadline day move away

Another departure on the cards could be Ben Nelson, who has also been linked with a loan to the Championship.
Several second-tier clubs are interested in his services but despite all of the speculation, a move doesn’t look any closer to being secured.
Nelson needs minutes if he wants to establish himself as a first-choice defender at Leicester in the future and he and the Foxes will both be hoping that something can materialise in time.
