Leicester City want to sign a new striker on Deadline Day and could turn to the loan market.
Leicester City have made eight senior signings so far this summer but are still in the market for another centre-forward.
Jordan Ayew scored his first Leicester goal earlier this week and was praised by Steve Cooper post-match.
While the former Crystal Palace man will bring some goals to the King Power Stadium, further firepower is required.
Jamie Vardy is likely in the final year of his long playing career while Patson Daka is out injured, leaving the Foxes with limited options up front.
Leicester have asked about Santiago Gimenez of Feyenoord but a deal for the forward appears unlikely at this stage after he recently turned down a move to Nottingham Forest.

Leicester City eye Armando Broja move
Now, on deadline day, a fresh name has been linked with a move to the Midlands outfit.
As per John Percy of the Telegraph, Leicester want to sign a striker on Friday but are restricted by finances.
In turn, the club are set to explore the loan market with Chelsea forward Armando Broja being looked at.
He wrote: “Leicester City are targeting a striker signing today but are restricted by finance. Steve Cooper secured the £19m capture of Genk’s attacking midfielder Bilal El Khannouss yesterday but still wants to bring in a centre-forward.”
“A loan appears the most likely addition, with Chelsea’s Armando Broja understood to be under consideration despite his move to Ipswich falling through.”

Is Armando Broja good enough for Leicester City
Broja joined Chelsea from Tottenham Hotspur as a youngster back in 2009.
He broke into the senior side in 2020 and was labelled ‘amazing’ by former manager Mauricio Pochettino earlier this year, as per the Independent.
However, while the 22-year-old still has potential, he is yet to really show it in the Premier League.
Broja has only scored three and assisted two in 38 matches for Chelsea’s first-team, while he has also struggled during loan spells with Southampton and Fulham.
Given Leicester are in desperate need of a new striker due to their lack of firepower up top, Cooper may be better served looking at alternative options today.
