Leicester City have their fair share of talent despite the fact they face a relegation battle this season.
Steve Cooper is the man tasked with keeping Leicester City in the Premier League and whilst he knows this will be difficult he will enjoy working with a talented group.
The likes of Facundo Buonanotte, Abdul Fatawu and Bilal El Khannouss all have bags of potential and have all showed glimpses of the players they could become in the future.
However, even at 37, Jamie Vardy is still Leicester’s talisman and the Premier League and FA Cup winner continues to receive praise even in the twilight of his career.

Nedum Onuoha a big fan of Jamie Vardy
Footballer turned pundit Nedum Onuoha is the same age as Vardy and will therefore appreciate the fact he is still performing at the top level more than most.
Onuoha was a guest alongside Gary Cahill on BBC 5 Live’s Planet Premier League podcast where he waxed lyrical about the Foxes legend, saying: “Jamie Vardy is just such an anomaly that he deserves so much credit.
“Ten years ago, he was promoted from the Championship and when you look at Jamie Vardy being in the 100 [Premier League] goal club, look at the way he’s come through all the leagues, there’s no reason for him to have been that good.
“The impact that he’s had and the way that he’s played and his longevity overall. He’s not played in the Premier League his whole career, not at all, not even close, but we speak about him as if he has.”
Onuoha and Gary Cahill on Vardy extending career

Onuoha was then asked about the perception of Vardy drinking Red Bull and generally not taking the greatest care of himself, to which he responded: “He’s invested more in his health and all that kind of stuff towards the backend of his career.
“He’s the only player who I could play against and he might tackle me more than I tackle him. He’s a very, very unique player but credit to him, he’s done so well.”
Cahill echoed this sentiment, saying: “He’s definitely, definitely taking care of himself very well now.
“We finished internationally at pretty similar times really and I could see with him then that he had one eye on his diet, his training, his recovery. And he’s getting the rewards for that now.”
Leicester fans will hope Vardy will go on forever, but for now they are best served enjoying the one of a kind striker whilst they still can.
