Leicester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho believes rotation with his teammates isn’t a negative and has respect for those around him.
The Foxes’ manager, Enzo Maresca has based his team selections this season on rotation, to make sure his side is as fresh as possible.
With that being said, with a single-striker formation, his three strikers are all vying for a single place.
Some people may think that this would create friction within the squad, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
This season City have only lost one game and has won the rest. A record-breaking start to a season which sees them 10 points clear of third place.

What has Kelechi Iheanacho said?
As beforementioned, some people from the outside looking in may think constant rotation would cause issues, but this has been put to bed.
Iheanacho has featured in 16 games so far this season, with 11 of those being starts.
In that time he has managed to contribute to five goals despite never completing a full 90 minutes so far.
With that being said, he doesn’t see rotation as rivalry: “Let me put that right, it’s never a battle with me and Jamie.
“He’s a legend in the game, he’s done a lot for this great club, so it’s never a battle for me and Jamie.”
Iheanacho recognises what his strike partner has done in his career and wouldn’t disrespect him.
On that, he said: “I’ve got absolute respect for him. He’s a legend as I’ve said before, so it’s never a battle. If he plays, he scores, you know what he’s like.”
Discussing the rotation he added: ” Me, Jamie, and Patson Daka, it’s never a battle. We are happy with where we are at the moment.”
It is great to hear and long may the good vibes continue at the King Power.
