‘Out of touch’… Leicester City fans all make the same point about tone-deaf social media post

It doesn’t take much for Leicester City fans to be left frustrated these days.

With nine games of the season left, Leicester are 19th in the Premier League table and looking pretty defeated.

Ruud van Nistelrooy slammed Wout Faes’ involvement in the first goal and there are plenty of tell-tale signs to suggest the Foxes are defeated.

Tension is high right now and even the little things take it’s toll on the fanbase at this moment and it seems supporters have been irked by the latest social media post.

Leicester fans react to latest social media post

The latest thing to anger Leicester fans was a social media post in which Harry Winks, Wilfred Ndidi and Faes discussed the importance of motivation.

It comes shortly after Leicester set two unwanted records by becoming the first top flight side to lose seven home games in a row without scoring, as well as concede 1000 Premier League goals quicker than anyone else.

Fair to say that it didn’t go down too well and Foxes fans were left baffled by the tweet.

@richhollis14 wrote: “Jesus Christ admin are so out of touch with the fans at the minute it’s hilarious.”

@kelsen_sachin commented: “Care to show that “motivation” on the pitch?”

@thorpie54 said: “Not sure this is well timed.”

@LcfcTadhg added: “We lost that a long time ago.”

@yogs1foot also said: “Zero leadership at the club. The manager and players need a kick up the backside but no one to do it. It’s a complete shambles.”

When can Leicester City be relegated?

As it stands, the Foxes need 10 points to overtake Wolverhampton Wanderers, provided that they don’t pick up a single point between now and when they face each other on 26 April.

Should nothing change between now and then, the game against Wolves is when the Foxes’ Premier League journey could finally come to an end.

Away from home, at Molineux, there won’t be many tougher games to play, especially as Wolves are the only side that can realistically be caught.

If Leicester are able to hang on for an extra week then there is chance that the Foxes’ worst fears could be realised by getting relegated against rivals Nottingham Forest.
