Leicester City fans have noticed Ricardo Pereira’s recent social media activity ahead of this weekend’s game against Arsenal
The Foxes travel to the Emirates Stadium in search of their first Premier League win of the season just days after limping past Walsall in the Carabao Cup.
Pereira has been used sporadically so far this season, failing to play a single minute of football in the league and only making his first start of the 2024/25 campaign on Tuesday.

Ricardo Pereira’s social media activity speaks volumes about thoughts on Leicester City
Supporters have been left confused by Steve Cooper’s decision to drop Pereira in favour of James Justin for the opening five games.
Justin admitted that he and his Leicester City teammates “weren’t up for the fight” against Everton last week, and many fans have called for the right-back to be dropped for Pereira.
The 30-year-old has been quiet about his lack of game time but in an Instagram post on Wednesday, which he said: “Focus on you, keep improving and always do your best,” many Leicester fans commented calling for him to play.
Pereira has since appeared to like a number of posts calling for him to start, hinting that he may not be too happy with Cooper’s decision to relegate him to the bench.
Steve Cooper hails ‘very important’ Ricardo Pereira
Despite favouring Justin, Cooper is insistent that Pereira has a part to play in his side and will be a vital asset for the Foxes throughout the season.
The Foxes boss said: “I speak to Ricky all of the time.
“He’s an excellent pro and a very important player in the dressing room, for the culture. He leads by example.
“He’ll want to play games but he knows he’s in a competition like every other player is. Sometimes you’ve got the shirt, you’ve got the nod, and other times you haven’t.”
